I've been a personal trainer since 2011. I attended Parkland College's personal trainer program from 2009-2011 and it was quite the eye opening experience for me. I had been interested in fitness before, but the program exposed me to a lot of different methods and tools that I hadn't used before. After graduating the program I decided to pursue being a personal trainer as a career and have been seeing clients ever since!

I became interested in becoming a massage therapist after being a personal trainer for several years. I saw how much foam rollers and other massage tools helped my clients, so I figured it would be a good idea to learn more about massage. I enrolled in Parkland College's massage therapy program in 2014 and graduated in the summer of 2015.

I now divide my time between doing personal training and massage therapy. They both have their own good qualities about them and they're different enough from each other to keep me focused and engaged. I like both equally and plan on doing both for as long as I have clients who want to work with me.

My combination of personal training knowledge and massage therapy techniques has really helped in the work that I do. It's easy for me to spot problem areas and use a variety of techniques to address them. I make sure that every client receives a massage that addresses their particular goals and needs. My favorite thing about being a massage therapist is being able to help provide some pain relief to my clients. I've had issues in the past with back pain so being able to help others treat similar issues is very rewarding.
